Sweat, Tapes, and Shows

Hello!

We are extremely excited to announce A FEW THINGS!

ONE! We are very near the launch of our what is destined to be the most iconic record label of the 23rd century - SWEAT POWER RECORDS! We're hard at work duplicating tapes and building website stuff (www.sweatpowerrecords.com will soon be the next faceforkpitchbook), and soon we we unleash our darling beast upon this hollow, unsuspecting world.

TWO! In celebration of the first two Sweat Power releases, VALLEY TONGUES - CANIJA and TALL TOO and MAID MARIAN - SPLIT TAPE, we are hosting a rager in true rage styles next weekend at our humble abode, Thug Estates. If this was a high school graduation, we'd send out invitations that looked like this:

Also, this is Utopia Park's first show in Fairfield since going on tour, and first show in Thug Basement...

SUNDAY THE 18TH Jerry Fels and the Jerry Fels @ Thug Estates Backyard!
At our house of Thug Estates we shall be having a backyard BBQ and EVERYONE IS INVITED!
You see, spring is here and we need to have lots of cooking outside so celebrate this awesomeness! oh and PLUS there's this guy Jerry Fels and the Jerry Fels who is going to be playing for us. He is on tour from Massachusetts and he needs gas money and shit so it's DONATION BASED! bring money for him, or some food to BBQ. 309 W Adams. THANKS

we have a band from Santa Cruz CA called Matador, and they are a boy and a girl who play guitar and violin, respectively, and sing deep songs. Joining them is our main boy of power
Man Of The Times.
Let's say that this show is Three (3) Dollars. and let's say that the show begins at 8:30 SHARP.

so this one is going to be a multi level thang: here's the breakdown.

Grand Tetons: 9 o clock sharp: upstairs in the living room. Acoustic Whiskey songs
Valley Tongues 9:35 sharp, downstairs in the basement dancing ceremony.
Mumford's at 10:10 sharp upstairs in the living room. Wild stories and stomping and clapping, yelling and howling. Note: this is Nate Solo Acoustic, but i promise you it will be just as fun and life changing as full band mumford's
This Big 10:45 downstairs in the basement. This is their last show, come out and love them.
Coyote Slingshot 11:15 downstairs in the basement. Trying to make something out of our horror and our confusion at life.
