so, the first two nights of the sweat power fest will have been full of a certain guitar driven loudness, a loudness that is wonderful, but there are other kinds of great loudness's that needs expressing. that is a lush loudness that takes over your soul, a loudness that washes over you like a waterfall, sometimes it comes crashing like a boulder and sometimes it comes twinkling down like starlight.

coyote slingshot is like this fun punkness band that is now comprised of dom (me) and (...HOLY CRAP!) Rose on KEYBOARDS and SARA LINDSEY on DRUMS and we are very happy and proud to bring our loud fast fuzzy warmth songs of sweat powered hope in the face of fear and loathing.
Speaking of great pop punk, OH MAN SOME OF MY FAVES ARE PLAYING TOO! lovely kidz who are lipstick homicide are coming from iowa city to spread their joy for us to jump around and risk our scalps against the low ceiling of the basement.
The Mystery Train is a wonderband of friends who i have had the pleasure of sharing bandhood with most of the cool cats in the mystery train, who knows, maybe i'll play a little horns with them...
oh Mumford's, these people, i love them infinitely. you will love them infinitely i shant say anymore, those of you who have seen them know, i fucking promise you they will bring it way amazing and you will join us soon enough.

speak of beautiful music, Skye Carrasco, is a wonderful lady from iowa city who plays the violin and sings songs for Bach and Whiskey, for Birds and Beers.
iowa city electronic threesome Datagun, you might have seen them, they serenade you, they rip your face off, leaving your tears to burn your wounds of the flesh where your face used to be. but you love it, it hurts so good. OH DID I MENTION THEY HAVE AN ALBUM THAT THEY WILL BE COMING OUT WITH AT THIS VERY SHOW!
So you alll know coolzey, he's a man, he's THE man. an amazing kindred spirit project doer and man of many bands, well the ol' boy sings in a band called GRISM, think Dinosaur Jr, if j mascis, was a really awesome dude.

local sibling till death, of death project Spooky Nights, is playing in the first time in a long long long long long time. we have a couple of brutal love rock and roll tunes to play. classics of classical funtime murder ballads.

WE:ARE:GOING:TO:HAVE:A:FESTIVAL
It is going to be a great big weekend of great times and celebration of what awesome friends everyone in the entire world is. there is going to be about 17 bands over the three days of
JANUARY 15th JANUARY 16th and JANUARY 17th.
there are going to be three (3) shows over that weekend and it will be AMAZING!

how it's going down:
